It’s an extraordinary organ that connects us to the world, powers our most essential organs, plays a key role in metabolism, regeneration, and growth, and helps us experience everyday through our senses and movement. But when the muscle, including the skeletal or cardiovascular muscle, is affected by serious disease, our bodies can be limited—in our health, our mobility, and in our ability to live to our true potential.

Serious Muscle Diseases With Life-limiting Impact
All of us at Edgewise are committed to developing new medicines for people facing serious muscle diseases with unmet medical needs. Our current focus is on conditions affecting skeletal and cardiovascular muscle, including muscular dystrophies like Becker and Duchenne, and cardiovascular conditions like Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and Heart Failure (HF).
Cardiovascular Diseases

Edgewise is dedicated to better understanding how complex physiologic muscle processes interact with disease pathologies in our bodies and the ways muscle plays a role in contributing to human health. We’re applying our knowledge across multiple disease states and, combined with our expertise in muscle physiology and small molecule drug design, we are making significant progress in developing new classes of muscle-targeted medicines.
